Recognition Ad
Friends of Boyd Christian School,
Today your child should have brought home a Recognition Ad letter for the 2011-2012 yearbook. This is a great opportunity to recognize all of our students, not just the seniors who will appear in the senior ads. We are so grateful to our seniors for coming up with this idea! We also encourage the faculty and staff to recognize students for accomplishments within the school. We are trying to lower the cost of the yearbook from $45 to $25.
Our students do such wonderful things in school, in the community, and for their church and family! Let’s recognize their accomplishments by giving them something they will cherish for years to come as we continue to encourage them to do great things!
Space for these ads will be limited. Therefore, we will operate on a first- come, first- serve basis. If you would like to purchase an ad, please complete the form and return to Ms. Terry in the front office by this Friday, the 28th. This will help determine our price for next week’s Pre-Sale.
Thanks for all of your support!

The ladies of LACE would like to express our great appreciation to all those who
worked so hard to make this year's Applefest a huge success. We could not have
accomplished this goal without you. Thank you sponsors for supplying the bouncers,
games and entertainment that made Applefest so much fun. Thank you to
our vendors and to the local businesses who donated items for our auction. Thank you
teachers and parents who made donations and organized our auction baskets. Thanks
to everyone who supplied awnings and equipment for the festival. We appreciate our
teachers, parents and students who gave their time to work the booths and ensure
everyone had a wonderful time. We did have a wonderful time, and that could only be
realized through the hard work and generosity of so many. It is amazing how much we
can do when we all work together. Together your hard work raised over $5000 for our
school! Thank you again for your hard work and support!

Today is the first day back from Fall Break. It is hard to believe that one-fourth of
the school year is over. It has been a fast pace first nine weeks. I encourage all parents to continue to monitor your children’s progress by going to Engrade. If you have not yet received an access code, contact us at school and we will take care of the matter.
I would like to personally thank each parent and patron who have supported Boyd Christian School thus far this year. Your help and support during fair week, mum sale, Applefest, and the pledge drive is deeply appreciated. Without that support, BCS would cease to be.
While much has been done, there is much more to do. We are at a little more than 25% on our pledge drive; currently at $35,900. If you know of others who can give in order to raise the needed $120,000 for this school year, pledge cards are available in the office.
Our kids deserve the opportunity to attend a school such as F.C. Boyd Christian School. If I can be of assistance or if I am needed to visit an individual, business, or church, please let me know. Above all, keep BCS in your prayers.
