From the Superintendent

Please remember our annual Thanksgiving lunch this Friday. Students will be allowed to leave with their parents or grandparents afterwards.

Our annual Christmas program is scheduled for Sunday, December 13, at 2:00 in the afternoon. Please mark this date on your calendars and plan to join us.

LACE is once again having their annual pecan sale. They have arrived and are $7.50 per bag.

I met with Mr. Robert Simonds today about the possibility of beginning an instrumental music program and a band for our middle and high school students. Mr. Simonds is a recently retired music teacher who has had several years of experience directing school bands. Among other accomplishments, Mr. Simonds had a band which marched in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade several years ago. Mr. Simonds will be joining us for a demonstration assembly on Tuesday, December 1, right after our morning chapel. They will have the opportunity to see and hear various instruments.

Please note that parent-teacher conferences will be on Thursday, November 19, from 3:00 to 6:00. Please contact the office to schedule any conferences.
