On September 10th, P.T.F. will be selling beautiful mums for $12 on the lawn of Caney Fork Electric. These mums are in three gallon containers and come in white, orange, red, and multi-colored. Special thanks to Holly Hillis for organizing this event which benefits the community and Boyd School.
The next scheduled P.T.F. Meeting will be Tuesday, September 6th at 6:30. Please make plans to attend.
Our school has the possibility of winning 250,000 Box Tops by registering at BTFE.com! Please go online today and continue to collect Box Tops for Education.
If you have not completed the Student Information Form for your child, please do so and return to your child’s home room teacher. Emergency situations will occur and require prompt attention.
Thank you to those who worked at the fair Food Booth on Saturday. We appreciate your time and hard work to get the booth ready for inspection.
There are still several time slots available for the Fair Food Booth. To make this fundraiser successful, we need every parent working a shift. Jobs available are: Manager for each night, Grill, Prep Room/Kitchen (slice vegetables, pies, prepare desserts, wash dishes, etc.), Food Prep (prepare hamburgers, plates, etc.), Servers, Clean Up, and Cash Box. This is a great opportunity to help the school and have a fun time too!
A Senior Trip Meeting has been planned for Tuesday, August 30th at 5:45 in Mrs. McVey’s classroom. Also, the Seniors are selling candy to help fund their Senior Trip: Candy Bars- $1, Air heads, Peanuts, and Blow Pops - .25
Girl Scout Forms are available in the office.
The Grandparents Day Luncheon has been scheduled for Friday, Sept. 9th. Mayfield Photography will be available for photos with all proceeds going to Boyd School. A package includes one 5 x 7 and four wallets for $10.

Thursday – Lasagna, Broccoli w/ Cheese, Texas Toast
Friday - Hamburger or Hotdog on Bun, Chips, Brownies
