Christian School in the Cafeteria.

-       We will be introducing the new coach

-       Reviewing plans for spring practice

-       Discussing the plans for next year's game schedule

-       Answering any questions parents or players have

Dear Parents,

We are celebrating National School Choice Week this week.  We are so thankful you chose to send your children to BCS.  Boyd is one of 5,000 schools participating in National School Choice Week (January 26-February 1, 2014).  The goal of the Week is to shine a positive spotlight on all types of education options  for children- from traditional public schools to public charter schools, magnet schools, private schools, online learning and homeschooling.  To celebrate our school, we have a few special activities planned.  Tuesday- our students will write thank you letters to parents and/or grandparents.  Wednesday- students will write essays on why others should choose BCS too!  Thursday- we will have a school wide “snowball” (cotton ball) fight at 2 pm with scarves donated by National School Choice Week.  We will make pictures for the Southern Standard.  Friday is our 100th day of school.  Your child may dress as if they are 100 and we have many 100th day celebrations in individual classrooms all over school.  Again, thank you for choosing BCS!

 

ARCHERY:   A meeting will be held at 3:15 on Thursday, Jan. 30th in the school cafeteria. Any student in 4th-12th grade is welcome to attend.

 

A.C.T. TEST:  The next scheduled A.C.T. will be Saturday, Feb. 8th at 8:00 am.  Please report to the high school building for testing.

 

HOMECOMING:  Festivities begin at 4:00 pm on Saturday, Feb. 8th.  The basketball game against Franklin Road Academy begins at 6:00 pm.

 

8 MAN FOOTBALL:  An informational meeting will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15 to discuss the addition of a football team.  If you would like to attend, please arrive at 11:00 am in the school cafeteria.

 

SCIENCE FAIR:  The Middle School Science Fair will be held on Friday, Feb. 28.  Mrs. Emily Fisher looks forward to the exciting and unique entries!

Boyd to Celebrate National School Choice Week with Special Event

FC Boyd Christian School participates in nation’s largest-ever celebration of educational opportunity
Mc Minnville – FC Boyd Christian School will hold a special event on Thursday, January 30, 2014 to celebrate National School Choice Week, school leaders announced today.
The event will feature We will feature a writing contest, a dress up like you are 100 on the 100th day of school and a school wide (cotton ball) snowball fight in the gym. The event will be held at the school.
FC Boyd Christian School is a Private Christian school serving grades prek-12, with a student enrollment of 161.
Boyd is one of 5,000 schools participating in National School Choice Week (January 26-February 1, 2014). The goal of the Week is to shine a positive spotlight on all types of education options for children – from traditional public schools to public charter schools, magnet schools, private schools, online learning and homeschooling.

Welcome Back!

After a long winter nap, we have returned! I hope you all enjoyed your snow days and are ready to get into the swing of things. We have many upcoming events this spring that I am very excited about.

Interact Club Makes Christmas Special

Mr. Reed's Interact club collected gifts for this family and delivered them on Dec. 19. It took three trucks to get all of the gifts to their home. I am so proud to be a part of such a giving student body!
