Boyd to Celebrate National School Choice Week with Special Event
FC Boyd Christian School participates in nation’s largest-ever celebration of educational opportunityMc Minnville – FC Boyd Christian School will hold a special event on Thursday, January 30, 2014 to celebrate National School Choice Week, school leaders announced today.
The event will feature We will feature a writing contest, a dress up like you are 100 on the 100th day of school and a school wide (cotton ball) snowball fight in the gym. The event will be held at the school.
FC Boyd Christian School is a Private Christian school serving grades prek-12, with a student enrollment of 161.
Boyd is one of 5,000 schools participating in National School Choice Week (January 26-February 1, 2014). The goal of the Week is to shine a positive spotlight on all types of education options for children – from traditional public schools to public charter schools, magnet schools, private schools, online learning and homeschooling.
“We are excited to have Boyd participate in National School Choice Week with this special event,” said Andrew Campanella, National School Choice Week president. “It is because of great events like this that National School Choice Week, in Tennessee and across the country, will break records as the largest and most influential celebration of educational opportunity in American history.
