Parents/BCS Supporters,
PTF wants to thank those who were able to attend the campus clean up day on July 17th. There are still things that need to be done, so we have scheduled another work day for the last Saturday in July, the 31st. We will start at 8:00AM and work as long as needed. Please make plans to attend even if you can only work 1 hour; that is more helpful than you may realize. We want to have the BCS campus looking GREAT for Open House on August 8th.
Thank you for all that you do to help Christian Education.

Dear Parents,
If you are going to see the Atlanta Braves baseball game on June 1 to hear the
chorus sing, and especially if you have never been to a game at Turner Field
before, here is some important information.
1. Please look at this website:
http://atlanta.braves.mlb.com/atl/ballpark/security.jsp. This will give you
lots of valuable information about the stadium.
2. The main plaza gate will open at 4:40. The first pitch is at 7:10. The
chorus will sing about 6:45.
3. You may bring your own food and drinks. However, please remember the
following. No cans or glass bottles may be brought into the stadium. Small
soft sided coolers may be brought in...small enough to carry over a shoulder.
The cooler may not be plastic or hard sided.
4. In addition to purses, small backpacks or knapsacks may be carried in, but
please observe the size restrictions mentioned on the webpage. All bags are
searched upon entry to the stadium.
5. Parking is $12 if you purchase parking the day of the game at the stadium.
You may purchase a parking pass online ahead of time for $10. You can
purchase a parking pass online at this webpage:

Parents/BCS Supporters,
I want to give you a quick overview of tonight's PTF meeting. There is a display of the Mother's Day Baskets as you walk in the main hallway of the Elementary building along with a list breaking down the items in each basket. The prices range from $10 to $30; these baskets also make great birthday gifts. You may purchase these from Terry Stubblefield in the office; checks can be made out to Boyd Christian School. One of the baskets has a gift certificate from Gondola; we appreciate the donation of the gift cards from Lisa Zavogiannis and her husband. We are looking at two campus clean up days before Open House; tentative dates are July 17th & 24th or July 24th & 31st. Once the Open House date has been set I'll send an e- mail to notify you of the exact dates. Teacher/Staff Appreciation Day has been scheduled for Friday, May 7th. There is a sign up list in Terry Stubblefield's office; if you cannot prepare food for that day, you can give money to go toward a food tray such as vegetables, fruit, meat & cheese, etc. There will not be a May PTF meeting. Chorus is going to have a bake sale, so if you can prepare baked items have them at school May 21st; I hope that is the right date Mrs. Hagar. Thank you for all that you do for Christian Education.
