Boyd’s Got Talent
Talent Show Rules
Date: September 27, 2008 Time: 6:30pm
All performers must arrive at the gym no later than 5:45pm on show date.
Entry Fee is $5.00 for each entry. Late Entry Fee is $10.00 per entry.
Only Boyd Students may enter the competition. Students may perform with accompaniment or in a group with family members.
Students may enter in more than one category.
Categories are:
Individual
i. Individual: Student performs alone with or without prerecorded music.
ii. Individual + Accompaniment: Student performs with one or more family members or other students assisting. Performance must be primarily performed by the student.
Group: Students or student(s) and family member(s) perform as a group.
Definition of Family Member: Must be the student’s immediate family (including parents, grandparents & siblings).
For questions regarding accompaniment or group members who are not students, please see any L.A.C.E. member.
Prizes: Grand Prize: $100.00, Category First Prize: $50.00. This is subject to change based on the number and type of entrants.
Dress Code: Boyd Christian School Dress Code applies for all performers.
For questions determining if your performance attire is acceptable, please see Mr. Harper.
Behavior: Boyd Christian School Behavior Codes apply for all performers. Please remember you are representing our school and its ideals.
Dress Rehearsal: Dress Rehearsal will be September 26 at 3:00 in Boyd’s Gym. All acts will be reviewed for Dress Code and Behavior Code at that time. Anyone not adhering to the Dress and/or Behavior Code will not be allowed to perform the following day.
